Student Scholarship Donations
SADA will host fundraisers throughout the year to raise money for student scholarships. SADA has an Endowed scholarship through TDAF, guaranteeing 1-2 student scholarships to be awarded annually to students from our membership area. In addition to the Endowed scholarship, SADA makes every effort to raise additional funds to provide more students with financial support to encourage their dietetics education goals. Please attend the Annual SADA Holiday Party and participate in our silent auction where all proceeds go to the scholarship. Additional fundraisers will occur throughout the year.

Each year the Foundation engages in several initiatives to raise funds for much needed scholarships for dietetics students, who are the future of our profession. Many of you were probably the recipient of at least one scholarship on your road to becoming registered, and you know what a positive impact that played in your academic success.
We are excited to offer you this opportunity to participate in our Fall "Fund the Foundation" Donation Drive and Drawing. It is now very easy to make a $20, $50, or $80 tax-deductible donation to TDAF through our website at www.tdafscholarships.org. Anyone donating at the $50 level before October 15 will be in the drawing for a $100 Southwest Airlines gift card. Those donating at the $80 level before October 15 will be in the drawing for a $250 Southwest Airlines gift card. The gift cards will be sponsored by individuals or organizations, so none of the money donated during this campaign will be used for prizes.
Please forward our Donation Drive information to your members and remind everyone that we will not be having our annual raffle this year. This will be our Fall campaign and we will have another in the Spring. I can't thank you enough for your support for the Foundation. The future of our profession depends on generous donor such as yourself!
